Oh hey Florida! 👋🏻
We’re (kinda) back home in Nashville after a wonderfully full Summer!
After nine weeks of leading worship at Centrikid Camps, we went to Florida for a few weeks.
Our first stop in Florida was a home show with our friend Lukas Comer. It was a joy and blessing to meet his young adult small group and share our song with them! You can check out clips of the home show by clicking here.
Our next two stops were at Morning Star Church and The Grove Church. We spent time with these churches encouraging families in home discipleship and sharing songs from our family worship project, “God of Generations.” We love these kinds of events and plan to make and release more content related to family discipleship here soon. If that’s something you like more from us, stay tuned as we release more information in the next few months.
Between events, we made a point to visit a beach and grab some crab legs because they are Judah’s favorite food.
During our second week in Florida, we went on a family to Disney World!
We had a blast and made a ton of wonderful memories together. That being said, I have thoughts about Disney World after this visit…
If you’ve paid attention, you know we also went on a Disney Cruise earlier this year. Since we were in Florida for events and while we could get Milo in for free, we decided to go ahead and make DW vacation happen this year. We planned and saved to go to DW in 2020, but… well, you know the story because we all lived it.
I’m still processing our most recent trip, but I will say that we much prefer going on a Disney Cruise over visiting Disney World. If you want to go on a family vacation trying to decide between the two and would like to know more of our thoughts, let me know because I’ve thought about writing a post comparing the two trips.
Once we got back to Nashville, Emily and the big kids started their first day of school! We mostly homeschool, but our kiddos attend classes each Friday. It’s an extra special first day of school for Em because she decided to teach this year!
I said we are kinda back in Nashville because we’re headed to Mississippi to share a concert of our songs this weekend. When we return from Mississippi, we should be grounded in Nashville for a bit, and we’re eager to get some new music recorded and start on a few projects we’ve been dreaming up for a while now.
