Our Fall 2023 Playlist

Did anyone else sit outside a bit more this week? We've had so many lovely nights out on our back porch this past week. We found some new patio furniture on Facebook marketplace and I've been dying to put up some twinkle lights, so I did!

Something that has marked this month for me is a conversation I seem to be having on repeat. Every time I ask a friend how life after summer is going, I get the same answer, “Life is full.” I’m there, too. Life is wonderfully full with friends, school, church activities, home projects, and work to enjoy and steward.

Between the needs of the people I care for, my goals and desires, and the outside world’s demands, constant activity makes it easy to feel weary. I am probably the worst at slowing my pace and pausing throughout my day.

Songs are one thing that helps me look up from the work of my hands. They help still the constant to-do list in my head, bring some calm to the atmosphere, steady my heart, and fix my mind back on the one who is holding me in the midst of all I’m trying to hold together.

I thought I would share a playlist of songs ministering to me this Fall season.
