The Early Years
For over ten years, Jonathan and Emily have traveled the United States, singing their songs and leading worship at churches and various events. Their songs have been featured on The Gospel Coalition website, Worship Leader Magazine, and others.
Jonathan and Emily met in 2005 at Belmont University in Nashville, TN. The two became quick friends and dated near the end of their time in school together. They got married in 2010 and started their ministry together after they graduated.
During their first few years of ministry, they wrote songs and traveled with a group of their friends under the name Mosaic. Mosaic was a collection of various artists and songwriters who banded together to write scripture-saturated songs. Another unique feature of the group was their stunning harmonies. The group released three full-length projects and traveled in music ministry together for over three years.
When several members in the group started having children, Mosaic dispersed and started working on solo and duet projects. To this day, the members of Mosaic support one another, and they are among some of Jonathan and Emily’s closest friends.

About Jonathan
Jonathan’s deepest passions are writing and songwriting. He is also a family guy through and through. Along with writing, Jonathan loves learning and is an avid reader. Having graduated with a degree in Music Business, Jonathan discovered in college that he is interested in entrepreneurship and loves learning how to make a career out of his creative work. Along with songwriting, Jonathan’s creative pursuits include photography and videography. His superpowers include ideating, brainstorming, activating, and cheerleading others in their creative desires and pursuits.
In 2020 Jonathan and Emily celebrated their tenth anniversary. To celebrate, Jonathan released a solo pop project to champion the gift of marriage and highlight the beauty of self-sacrificing love that lasts.
Jonathan also loves making content to encourage other other artists and creators.
About Emily
Emily’s great loves are singing, leading worship, writing, and sharing songs full of truth that encourage, equip, and point hearts to Jesus. She’s a full-time “work-from-homeschool” mommy of 3, constantly learning and seeking to know and make Jesus known in her home and beyond. She’s hardly ever without a cup of coffee and loves any excuse to make or share a cup with a friend.
Emily studied commercial voice at Belmont University and has been singing professionally since age 8, starting early in musical theater and later into country, pop, and worship music. Along with performing songs live, she loves session singing and singing backup harmonies any chance she gets. Having a history of vocal damage during her early years in Nashville has made Emily geeky about vocal health. She is passionate about equipping and developing other singers and worship leaders by teaching them how to protect, grow and use their voices with freedom and confidence.
