Everything We Need

Though there are many projects I’m eager to tackle, my main desire is to draw nearer to God. I want greater fear of the Lord, a soft heart, a deeper conviction, and a desire to obey and trust Him. I want to live with a greater awareness of God and the Gospel. I want more of the living that happens when someone truly believes the Gospel. I also want to more diligently love and disciple my family and the people that God has in my life. I want to pray more. I want to die to myself more. A Blessed Mouthful

My lips are daily voicing my fears, my worries, my frustrations, my disappointments, the ways I feel offended, my wants, my dreams. You know what I’ve noticed is not naturally on my lips every day? The praise of God.

Pleasant Places

I felt incredibly celebrated this past Father’s Day. Since I like making videos, my kids (with mom’s help) gave me a “video card” this past Sunday. It pretty much made my life.

This past Father’s Day had me thinking about what my kids truly need and want from me.
